Basketball Recap: First Baptist Skates Past Liberty Christian with Ease

First Baptist waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Liberty Christian Eagles 54-23. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

First Baptist's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lydia Wynja, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Wynja has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 14 times she's played. Keira Wynja was another key player, putting up seven points along with six steals and five boards.

First Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in eight consecutive contests.

First Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

As of now, neither they nor Liberty Christian have any future games scheduled.
