Softball Recap: Cudahy Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Cudahy's offense. They came up short against the Whitnall Falcons on Friday, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in April.

Cudahy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Whitnall, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Cudahy will head out on the road to take on Milwaukee Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitnall, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Plymouth at 9:00 a.m. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
