Basketball Recap: Saks Comes Up Short

Saks lost against Jacksonville Christian Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Saks Wildcats took a 72-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jesse Gannaway, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. Gannaway's evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Lee, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds.

Saks' loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Saks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-47 defeat against Weaver on the 7th. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-41 loss against Spring Garden on the 7th.
