Waupun entered their tilt with Columbus on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

While Waupun won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-22.

Ava Vande Zande paced Waupun's offense, picking up 11 kills. Vande Zande got some help from Hayden Schultz and her 17 assists. Vande Zande was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Waupun's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Columbus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Waupun wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Verona on the 27th. As for Columbus, they will square off against Poynette at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
