Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Ardmore fell just short of Deshler by a score of 2-1. Ardmore has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Priceville got themselves on the board against Danville on Monday, but Danville never followed suit. They blew past the Hawks 6-0. The Bulldogs have beaten the Hawks the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hawks has come to flipping the script.
Danville's batters probably weren't too happy with Elizabeth Murphy, who pitched a no hitter (she gave up two walks).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Peyton Goss, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Baxley Black was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Priceville's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Ardmore, their loss dropped their record down to 19-14-1.
