Football Game Preview: Washington Pam Pack vs. North Johnston Panthers + How To Watch

The Washington Pam Pack will venture away from home to take on the North Johnston Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington is looking for their season's first victory.

On Friday, Washington had to suffer through a 36-6 loss at the hands of West Craven. While losing is never fun, the Pam Pack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Eagles are ranked 81st).

North Johnston hadn't beaten North Pitt on the road since October 20, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. North Johnston had just enough and edged out North Pitt 30-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win North Johnston has posted against North Pitt since October 23, 2015.

Washington better keep an eye on Kaleb Pone. He was instrumental in North Johnston's win, rushing for 104 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 37 yards and one touchdown.

North Johnston pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.7 points over those games. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Washington took a serious blow against North Johnston in their previous matchup back in November of 2016, falling 33-6. Can the Pam Pack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
