Basketball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Firestone Falcons and fell 73-41. The Vikings were probably out for revenge after losing 64-28 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Firestone, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.

North will host East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Firestone, they are taking a road trip to challenge Buchtel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Buchtel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
