Basketball Recap: North Rowan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lexington last Monday, North Rowan came back down to earth. The North Rowan Cavaliers fell 80-69 to the Salisbury Hornets on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Hornets are ranked 109th).

North Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Salisbury, the victory was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.

As of now, neither North Rowan nor Salisbury have any future games scheduled.
