Volleyball Recap: Satanta Indians vs. South Gray Rebels
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Satanta and South Gray have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Rebels when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11.
Keagan Mel Eesa Showalter was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last eight matchups.
Satanta's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for South Gray, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.
Satanta will take on Moscow on Saturday. As for South Gray, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bucklin on the 30th.
