Softball Recap: Kingswood Oxford Wyverns vs. Kent School Lions

While Kingswood Oxford put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Kent School. The Kingswood Oxford Wyverns came out on top against the Kent School Lions by a score of 5-0. Winning may never get old, but Kingswood Oxford sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Alexis Nisyrios '27 made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Nisyrios '27 has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Nisyrios '27 was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a triple.

In other batting news, Aleis Gonzales '27 was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and an RBI.

Kingswood Oxford pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Kingswood Oxford will be playing at home against Canterbury School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kingswood Oxford's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Canterbury School's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
