Dunnellon comes up short despite Eli Nelson's dominant performance

Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Santa Fe Raiders
The Dunnellon Tigers lost against the Santa Fe Raiders back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Dunnellon took a hard 63-47 fall against Santa Fe. Dunnellon has not had much luck with Santa Fe recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Dunnellon still got an impressive performance from Eli Nelson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Simpson, who scored five points.
Dunnellon's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Santa Fe, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.
Dunnellon and Lake Weir will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lake Weir knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Dunnellon likes a good challenge. As for Santa Fe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buchholz at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
