            Baseball Recap: Carlisle Thundering Herd vs. Central Dauphin East Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Carlisle). They put the hurt on the Central Dauphin East Panthers with a sharp  13-4 win on Monday. The Thundering Herd have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.
 Bradyn Sober made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Sober was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (three).

 In other batting news, Carlisle let  Lucas Ream and  Elijah Balthazor run wild. Ream  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Balthazor  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave  Balthazor a new career-high in  hits (three). Another player making a difference was  Finn Frawley, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Carlisle  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .587. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Central Dauphin East, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
