Soccer Recap: Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy was not quite Trivium Prep's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights, falling 7-2. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Trivium Prep, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will challenge NFL Yet Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trivium Prep, they will square off against Gilbert Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
