Soccer Recap: Dixie County Comes Up Short

Dixie County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Williston Red Devils, falling 9-2. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 474th, while the Red Devils are ranked 195th).

Dixie County's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Williston, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Dixie County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Williston has already played their next match (against Newberry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
