Volleyball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

If Heritage was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Berkner on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coyotes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lone Star Rangers on Friday. The Coyotes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in September of 2022.

Ryleigh Montgomery paced Heritage's offense, picking up seven kills. Montgomery got some help from Cambry Hodgson and her 12 assists.

Heritage has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Lone Star, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Plano East on the 22nd. As for Lone Star, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Sachse on the 22nd.
