Arthur-Okaw Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Sullivan Redskins 12-11. For the Conquering Riders, this counts as revenge for the 8-6 victory the Redskins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Justin Hostetler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
