Baseball Recap: Brevard Comes Up Short

Brevard was the 12-2 winner over Hendersonville when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brevard's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Hendersonville, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brevard will face off against rival Polk County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hendersonville is set to square off against their familiar foe R-S Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
