Soccer Preview: Queensbury Hunts for Offense After a Cold Stretch

The Queensbury Spartans will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Glens Falls Black Bears at 12:30 p.m. Queensbury's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Queensbury fell victim to Guilderland and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Flyin Dutchman. While losing is never fun, Queensbury can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Guilderland are ranked 17th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Glens Falls was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Guilderland, falling 6-0. That makes it the first time this season Glens Falls have let down their home crowd.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-5-1. As for Queensbury, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-5.
