Basketball Game Preview: Hanceville Bulldogs vs. Meek Tigers

The Hanceville Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Meek Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hanceville's tournament run continued when they took on Vinemont on Monday. Hanceville took a blow against Vinemont, falling 62-32. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Meek came up short against Winston County on Thursday and fell 47-40.

Meek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Hanceville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Hanceville strolled past Meek in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 42-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hanceville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
