Basketball Recap: Shelby Comes Up Short

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Shelby didn't have enough. They fell 57-46 to the Choteau Bulldogs on Thursday. The loss was the Coyotes' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shelby fell to 2-1. As for Choteau, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Shelby will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chester-Joplin-Inverness at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Choteau, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rocky Boy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
