Calvary won the last time they faced Mt. Olive and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Saints came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Calvary not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mt. Olive between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19.

Ainsley Johnson paced Calvary's offense, picking up 12 kills. Johnson got some help from Elesha Levine and her 12 assists. Levine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Calvary has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Mt. Olive, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Olive, they will venture away from home to square off against Carlinville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
