Baseball Game Preview: North Crowley Panthers vs. Lake Ridge Eagles

For the second straight game, North Crowley will face off against Lake Ridge. North Crowley will face off against Lake Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, North Crowley came up short against Lake Ridge and fell 8-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

For Lake Ridge's part, they got a great performance from Sean Wilson as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Wilson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Jayde Austin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Yates, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Lake Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-9-3. As for North Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
