Puyallup strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Yelm Tornados. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ryan Judge looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Gage Thompson was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. What's more, he posted four RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Keagan Soliza, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Puyallup always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive games.

Puyallup pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Yelm, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Puyallup wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Eastlake on the 26th. As for Yelm, they will head out to challenge South Kitsap at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
