Softball Recap: Village Christian Takes a Loss

Village Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Whittier Christian Heralds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Heralds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Tuesday.

Village Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gaby Robel, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Village Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Whittier Christian, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Village Christian will face off against rival Heritage Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Whittier Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Maranatha at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
