Baseball Recap: South Eugene Comes Up Short

South Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Redmond Panthers.

South Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Redmond, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, South Eugene will take on Silverton in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Redmond, they will be taking part in a tournament against Springfield at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
