Softball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial blew Keller out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Keller got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Indians by a score of 6-4.

Brooke Mayner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lexie Arthur, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Keller, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Coming up, Centennial will challenge Grapevine at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keller has already played their next matchup (against Aledo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
