Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Helix walked away with it. They blew past the San Pasqual Golden Eagles 49-27 on Friday. That looming 49-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Highlanders yet this season.

Lee Norman-Lester had a dynamite game, rushing for 190 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Lindley, who rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Helix's run defense was locked in: San Pasqual could only muster 1.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Jeremy Davis for the heroic effort on defense: he. Helix didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.3.
