Miami Beach is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They were outmatched by North Miami Beach and fell 50-12. The match marked the Hi-Tides' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 45-5 defeat at the hands of Homestead. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have lost by exactly 40 points.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Miami Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Miami Beach took a serious blow against Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 68-14. Can Miami Beach avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
