Soccer Recap: Kent Island Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Kent Island and Easton, and Easton kept the tradition alive. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Kent Island were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Easton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kent Island's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Easton, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kent Island will challenge rival Queen Anne's County at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Easton is set to take on their familiar foe St. Michaels at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
