Coleman hasn't had much luck against St. Patrick recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Comets will take on the Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Coleman was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Carson City-Crystal on Friday. The Comets blew past the Eagles 34-14.

Dominic Lawrence produced another solid effort rushing for 189 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 114.2 rushing yards per game.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Coleman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Meanwhile, St. Patrick put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Fulton, posting a 48-6 win. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 40 points or more this season.
Coleman better keep an eye on Hudson King. He was instrumental in St. Patrick's win, rushing for 149 yards and five scores on only 11 carries. King's longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another back making a difference was Caleb Pline, who rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.
St. Patrick's record is now 4-0. As for Coleman, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Saturday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Coleman has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 204.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like St. Patrick struggles in that department as they've been averaging 317.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Coleman took a serious blow against St. Patrick in their previous matchup back in August of 2024, falling 67-12. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Comets were down 48-12.
