Football Recap: Sayre Comes Up Short

Sayre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-0 defeat at the hands of the Athens Wildcats. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Redskins haven't been shut out since back in September.

Sayre's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Athens, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

As of now, neither Sayre nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
