West Orange proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Edgewater Eagles, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted against the Eagles since April 24, 2019.

West Orange got a great performance from Nicolas Caso as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). Caso has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Javier Rivas, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double.

West Orange hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Edgewater struck out 12 times.
