Volleyball Recap: Hudson Explorers vs. Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees
Hudson was the 3-1 winner over Brecksville-Broadview Heights when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Explorers fell just short of the Bees by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
Hudson actually scored more points across those five sets (109-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 21-25, 13-25, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Hudson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lani Slater had 28 digs and four aces. Those 28 digs set a new season-high mark for Slater.

Hudson has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, with the win, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-12.
