The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Caden Jones and Brady Edmunds. Jones had a great game and threw for 207 yards and one touchdown while completing 82.9% of his passes. Meanwhile, Edmunds was balling out in the loss, throwing for 281 yards and three TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Laguna Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Crean Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
