Baseball Recap: George West Takes a Loss

George West was the 7-3 winner over Premont when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The George West Longhorns fell just short of the Premont Cowboys by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

George West's loss dropped their record down to 14-12-2. As for Premont, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

George West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-8 defeat against Banquete on the 12th. As for Premont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Bruni on the 11th.
