Basketball Game Preview: Mountain House Mustangs vs. East Union Lancers

The Mountain House Mustangs will challenge the East Union Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain House knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully East Union likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, everything went Mountain House's way against Central Catholic as Mountain House made off with a 74-48 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Mountain House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Coldin Parker out in front who posted 21 points and eight rebounds. Parker continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Williams, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, East Union came up short against Central Catholic on Wednesday and fell 60-49.

Mountain House's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.1 points. As for East Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Everything came up roses for Mountain House against East Union when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured an 85-36 win. Does Mountain House have another victory up their sleeve, or will East Union turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
