Softball Recap: Taylor County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Aucilla Christian last Tuesday, Taylor County came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 6-3 to the North Florida Christian Eagles on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Taylor County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiersten Carter, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Taylor County's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for North Florida Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-5.

Taylor County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 defeat against Lincoln on the 15th. As for North Florida Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-3 loss against St. John Paul II on the 15th.
