The Unionville Longhorns will square off against the Kennett Blue Demons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Kennett took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Unionville, who comes in off a win.
On Saturday, Unionville beat Phoenixville 11-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Drew Puleo made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Unionville is 2-1 when Puleo allows one or fewer hits, but 5-8 otherwise. Puleo was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Unionville got a massive performance out of Jake Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Chris Gebhart, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Unionville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Kennett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Avon Grove.
Kennett got a big performance out of Ryan Hunter, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Hunter has launched this season. Kyle Doherty was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Unionville's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Kennett, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1.
Everything went Unionville's way against Kennett in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Unionville made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Longhorns repeat their success, or do the Blue Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
