Soccer Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Ferguson Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2014.

Their goal came courtesy of Milainy LLopiz, who's now up to two this season.

Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Ferguson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-2.

Sunset and Coral Park will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ferguson, they will host JC Bermudez Doral at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
