Basketball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton lost against Walnut back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hamilton Lions had to suffer through a 64-36 loss at the hands of the Walnut Wildcats. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Hamilton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jayden Troupe posted 11 points. Myles Self was another key player, putting up seven points.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Walnut, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-52 win against Hatley on the 21st. Walnut has also already played their next contest, a 62-42 loss against Corinth on the 20th.
