Volleyball Recap: Randolph-Macon Academy Comes Up Short

Randolph-Macon Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Tandem Friends Badgers, falling 3-0. If the Yellow Jackets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Badgers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Randolph-Macon Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Randolph-Macon Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tandem Friends, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Randolph-Macon Academy will face off against Wakefield School at 4:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Tandem Friends, they will square off against Stuart Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
