Basketball Recap: Lynnfield Takes a Loss

Lynnfield lost against Newburyport back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lynnfield Pioneers took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newburyport Clippers.

Lynnfield's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Newburyport, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Lynnfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-32 win against Triton Regional on the 12th. As for Newburyport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-60 loss against St. Mary's on the 12th.
