Baseball Recap: Palisade Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palisade can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red-Tailed Hawks from their previous meeting back in May of 2022.

Kian Kinslow made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Palisade's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-10. As for Cheyenne Mountain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-8-1.

Palisade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Windsor at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
