Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Granite Hills

Granite Hills won the last time they faced Grossmont and things went their way on Thursday too. Granite Hills put the hurt on Grossmont with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-16.

Conall Cicchetto paced Granite Hills' offense, picking up ten kills. Cicchetto got some help from Lathan Fry and his 17 assists. Fry was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Granite Hills pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Grossmont, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Granite Hills will venture away from home to challenge Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grossmont, they will host El Cajon Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. El Cajon Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Grossmont surely won't give up without a fight.
