Baseball Game Preview: Berlin Indians vs. Kiel Raiders

The Berlin Indians are taking a road trip to face off against the Kiel Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Berlin has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 2nd.

Berlin's last matchup with Shiocton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Chiefs, falling 18-1.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Kiel's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Kewaskum by a score of 3-2. Raiders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Indians since on Friday.

Kiel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Voelker, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Kiel's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Berlin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.

Berlin suffered a grim 17-0 defeat to Kiel in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
