Baseball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Melcher-Dallas Saints. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one run.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Melcher-Dallas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Seymour will take on Mormon Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Melcher-Dallas, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 16-6 defeat against Moravia on the 28th.
