Basketball Recap: Corinth Takes a Loss

If Corinth was riding high fresh off their 88-61 takedown of Granville last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Corinth Riverhawks lost 69-44 to the North Warren Central Cougars on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Riverhawks in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for North Warren Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Coming up, Corinth will square off against Cambridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. North Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
