Basketball Recap: Roff Comes Up Short

Roff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Amber-Pocasset Panthers and fell 64-28. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while the Panthers are ranked 82nd).

Roff's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Amber-Pocasset, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Roff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 85-52 defeat against Velma-Alma on the 8th. As for Amber-Pocasset, they will square off against Alex at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Amber-Pocasset's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
