Soccer Recap: Gilmer Takes a Loss

Gilmer was the 3-0 winner over Pickens when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gilmer Bobcats came up short against the Pickens Dragons on Monday, falling 5-1.

Gilmer's goal came courtesy of Calli Wise, who's now up to two this season.

Gilmer's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Pickens, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilmer will square off against Calhoun at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pickens, they will challenge Dawson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
