Soccer Recap: Avon Plays to a Tie

It was a good run, but Avon unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They and the Westlake Demons finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Avon's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Brock Harman, who's now up to 11 this season.

Avon's draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-1. As for Westlake, they moved theirs to 6-2-2.

Coming up, Avon will head out on the road to face off against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Steele will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Avon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westlake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Normandy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
